  Because of his powerful desire to revive Jewish Law, Rabbi Arussi has undertaken the sacred task of promoting the issue of litigation in civil courts based on Torah law and the Mediation Law, and to make those in the legal sphere and the general public aware of Jewish law in order to establish it as part of the justice system presently used in the State of Israel - as befits a Jewish State.
  
  
  
  As part of his rabbinic work, Rabbi Arussi conducts extensive religious-cultural activities out of a sense of his mission - to try and forge a bridge between the religious and non-religious. The Rabbi carries out this mission delicately and using methods that bring people closer. Rabbi Arussi teaches Halacha to the many, many people who turn to him from all over the country, and he listens attentively to the heartfelt words of those troubled souls seeking his advice. He is one of the greatest teachers in Israel and many flock to his Beit Midrash.
  
  
  
  For this purpose, the Rabbi founded the ``Halichot Am Israel'' association, a National organization for disseminating Jewish values, which includes many Torah institutes and kollelim through the country where hundred of young men and studying to be judges. Furthermore, the Rabbi has a civil court that operates in Kiryat Ono, and many other such courts have been established around the country as a result of this initiative.
  
  
  
  Halichot Am Israel conducts tens of thousands of Jewish studies classes for the general public throughout Israel. In addition, the organization has established kollels for young married men, some of whom are studying the Talmud in sequence, while some are training to be Rabbis in Israel and others are training to be Dayanim (judges as per the Shulchan Aruch of Rabbi Joseph Caro, and generally in accordance with the Hoshen Mishpat).
  
  
  
  Halichot Am Israel operates Talmud Torah Schools for young children and conducts Yarchei Kala - study seminars.
  
  
  
  For the past 16 years Rabbi Ratzon Arussi has organized the annual convention on Torah law with the Halichot Am Israel association, which he heads. The convention is held annually in the Holy City of Jerusalem for three consecutive days, with the participation of hundreds of people, including municipal Rabbis, regional council Rabbis, settlement Rabbis, and neighborhood Rabbis from around the country.
  
  
  
  During the convention, many important rabbinic judges and well known rabbinic court presidents appear before the participants and hold classes on topics in the religious code books of Hoshen Mishpat and Even Haezer.
  
  
  
  Rabbi Arussi enjoys the support, blessings and encouragement of great Torah scholars: Rabbi Ovadiah Yosef, Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu, Rabbi Avraham Kahana Shapira, the former Chief Rabbis of Israel, Rabbi Eliyahu Bakshi-Doron and Rabbi Israel Meir Lau, heads of yeshivas and great Hassidic leaders.
