As someone who is a certified judge in Jewish law as well as a PhD in Law, a member of the Chief Rabbinate and world of Legal academics, Rabbi Dr. Arussi is well prepared to take on this task.

The ground work has already been laid over the past 20+ years through multiple initiatives and programs.

the building project

The building is meant to be a central headquarters for his Bet Din in Israel which would train judges and send them throughout Israel.
His vision differs from others in that he believes his Dayanim should be well balanced in knowledge in knowing both Torah and Mada, that judgments must be made with patience, and that in matters that require a majority vote that all Dayanim have an opinion and not abstain from having one.

With a PhD in Israeli law he connects with Israeli politicians, both religious and secular, and he works hard to get monetary law as it is in Jewish teachings passed into national Israeli law.

It is worth mentioning that he has been involved in this project since the 1990’s and continues to move forward with his ideas and that he sees himself as a student of the Rambam.
